The room at Sportlodge Murren was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable double bed and a sofa that could be removed to allow for an extra person. The views of the Eiger were absolutely stunning and helped me escape from the stresses of everyday life.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathroom being located in the corridor. However, I understand that some guests may still appreciate this setup.

The staff treated us amazingly, letting us leave our luggage and enjoy our hike. The location is perfect with lots of fun activities for kids, including a 5x5 soccer field and a pumptrack. The hotel also has an indoor pool and sauna, and even a café! The room was basic but comfortable, with a neat and cozy bed. It's an affordable option, especially for short stays. The building is currently under renovation, but it doesn't take away from the clean rooms and good location. The kitchen and utensils provided allowed us to make our own meals, and there's a nearby supermarket. I received a free room upgrade with an incredible balcony view, and the room itself was spacious. As a sports enthusiast, I loved having free access to the swimming pool, gym, wellness area, and outdoor spa. The staff was great, and the location is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station. Plus, having a kitchen available to eat in was a nice touch.

We were able to prepare meals and save on eating out. the hot tub with its stunning mountain views was a highlight of our trip.
The cleanliness of the place left something to be desired, particularly in the kitchen area. There was a lingering smell and some garbage that had been left unattended.

The staff here were absolutely amazing, treating us like royalty from the moment we arrived! They let us leave our luggage at reception so we could go hiking early, and the location was perfect. The environment was super child friendly, with a 5x5 soccer field and a pump track for kids on scooters and bikes. And let's not forget the indoor pool and sauna! Plus, they even had a cafe! The room itself was neat and comfortable, with all the basic needs covered. It was great for a short stay and very affordable. The building may have been old and under renovation, but it didn't matter because the room was clean and the location was incredible. The kitchen and utensils were a lifesaver for saving money on meals, and having the Coop Supermarket nearby was convenient. And the fact that we got free access to the swimming pool was a huge bonus. despite a few weaknesses, it was excellent value for money. And a special shoutout to Sam at the front desk, who provided us with helpful advice and answered all our questions with enthusiasm!

We had a fantastic time exploring the Alpine Sports Centre, which is conveniently located near the Pop-up & Sport Lodge reception. The center offers a variety of activities for both hiking and skiing enthusiasts, and we were able to take full advantage of the stunning surroundings. The slopes were perfect for beginners and advanced skiers alike, and the large ice rink added an extra element of fun to our stay. It was a great place for outdoor family adventures.
For dads, it would be great if there were more clear signs or instructions throughout the check-in process.
